If you press me to say why I loved him, I can say no more than because he was he, and I was I.

Light and shadow. Foreground and background. Stand in the inbetween. Dance in the middle. That's what I'd do.

He was amazing...and so are you.
I have a collection of pictures just like this of my mother's cat, Ringo. He sleeps in the funniest places.
Happy Love Thursday to you and Larry!
I heart picture #3 - love the prayer flags down there like that!
forget how cute he is, i love that his name is larry.
Carrie, Larry loved St. Francis and the prayer flags. (Isn't that a great book title? St. Francis and the Prayer Flags. Now all I need is a book to go with it.)
Kind of like "Charley," isn't it margie?
Wanda, I am in love with... Larry, you and the "prayer flags". What are prayer flags, Wanda?? I love the sound of them already. St. Francis is a favorite of mine. ; )
Hi Christina,
The prayer flags are Tibetan in origin. There is a lot more detailed information out there, but put simply, they have prayers block printed on them and the wind carries the blessings to the surroundings. Lovely, isn't it?
Thanks so much for coming by.
I love that your cat's name is Larry.
Besides Larry and you, I love Michel de Montaigne. Have you read any of his essays? He's one person I would have liked to have talked with.
Dear Muse,
I love you, too. I took a look at some of Michel de Montaigne's essays and--to be honest--at this particular level of my energy, my brain can't take them in. I will, however, keep them in my queue of things to read.
From what little I did read, I am sure I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when you had him over for tea...or port...or cigars and brandy.
Larry is awesome! I love the St. Francis statue.
