hey there, georgy girl

I loved that movie when it came out. I related to Georgy Girl. We both envied everyone around us who were coupling up. Lynn Redgrave brought her to life--and gave me hope. I have loved her for that ever since.

Rest well, dear Lynn. I will miss you.

Miss Redgrave was always one of my favorites. If she was in it, I wanted to see it. I too first saw her in Georgy Girl, a story that has stayed with me all my life.

Did you know she had to work hard at gaining enough weight to play the role? She once said that gain caused her to cope with weight problems the rest of her life.

In addition to her beauty and amazing talent, I admired her for her work saving raptors. She was a huge supporter of the Raptor Research Center on the Snake River in Idaho, one of only two in the United States.

A lovely light has left the stage. A passionate voice is silenced. May she be at peace.

I didn't know. I'm so sad. The gifts that each of the Redgraves brought to stage and screen are truly without equal.

I had similar experience with Georgie Girl. Funny how one movie at just the right time with just the right actor can make such a difference in so many lives.

I didn't know, either. I'm sorry you were ever envious of others coupling up, but look at you now, one of the few 7's out there in the world.
