...and it is a challenge to keep them in balance. One without the other is much less potent. When one is wounded, balance is even more important.
Neither can take the place of the other. However, each keeps the other well-tuned and functioning.

I think the relationship between the two is the most important. You can have a good head and a good heart, but if there's no connection or communication between the two there will always be a hole.
Ditto, Deb! And when I'm lacking in one area, I generally try to use the other a little more.
Balance. That is frequently my struggle. Finding it. Keeping it. Thanks for the reminder.
