For reasons I cannot explain, my brain simply cannot follow this reasoning. I find myself daydreaming in the middle of it--no matter who is doing the writing and explaining.
Perhaps it has something to do with having grown up with one failed apocalyptic end of time prophecy after another. One of the things I am grateful for about the Mayan prophecy, as tiny as my bit of understanding of it is, is that it appears not to be a harbinger of doom but of expansion and good.
