Just a stroll in the park

Today the Shutter Sisters want a surprise. We went to Yellowstone National Park in September. Strolling down the street and through the lawns at Mammoth Hot Springs was the biggest bull elk I have ever seen. Take a look at that rack!

A ranger followed the bull in his car with the lights flashing so people wouldn't approach him and do something stupid. Every time I snapped the shutter, he turned his head just in time for me to miss the full head on impact of his antlers.

Across the street in another grassy area, the cows grazed.
