Love Thursday ~ 12.11.08

.
.
In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.
.
~ Albert Camus ~
.
.
(A new leaf on the blackbird. I moved it inside for the winter and it doesn't get enough light to keep it black. It is still beautiful and I am amazed that it is growing new leaves.)
.

(A new baby taro leaf at the base of the blackbird.)

(A new leaf on the red banana. I moved it inside, but there wasn't a place big enough for it to live in the house. So I had to move it back outside and wrap it with lights so it doesn't freeze. Red bananas don't do well in cold weather, but I really love it and am willing to work out the rest.)

.

.

Can you believe all this new growth here in the middle of winter? Perhaps there really is an invincible summer inside me.

.

Oh, wouldn't that be lovely?

I happen to KNOW that you have an invincible summer inside you. Would Camus lie?
