Yes indeed. I'm trying not to remember all the times I've been disappointed on that score--sincerity having proved lacking, and pay attention more to the other part: "Let both sides explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us." Lion and lamb, eh?
I admit that I have not found a good solution for communicating effectively with one whose word I no longer trust.
