Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this! The part about the ways we change to mask vulnerability (numbing, pretending, perfecting, etc.) was particularly powerful.
"We pretend that what we do doesn't have an impact on people. ... We need to be authentic and say, we're sorry, we'll fix it." She's talking about oil companies and politicians, but imagine the world if we all do that.
