what i did on halloween...

...went grocery shopping

...dug a patch of earth and mixed it with straw for the potatoes

...prepared the garden beds by raking the earth level and pressing the sides of the mounds

...put new handles on the newest cold frames so SO can open them

...vacuumed the leaves from the lawn

...ate macaroni and cheese

...blew the leaves from the sidewalk, driveway, front lawn, and deck

...hung upside down

...ate candy

I'm very intrigued by the hanging upside down part! And the rest sounds absolutely divine! I spent the day with my in-laws. Not quite as restful...

Yum - the mac and cheese sounds wonderful. I curled up with a stuffy nose and a book.

football, baseball, a movie, steak and salad, pyjamas, an all day couch, snoring, reading, couple of photos from the couch. one of those very quiet days.

Your Halloween sounded perfect. What amazing things you got accomplished. I especially like the eating candy part. I unloaded the moving van w/Ingi, returned the truck, went out for Mexican food lunch, went to the Mexican bakery, retrieved Ingi's car, dropped off Mexican bakery goodies for Claudia, unpacked some, rearranged some, washed dishes, picked up Sailor from his 3 day stay at the kennel, had a love fest with the bad kitties and Sailor, handed out tons of Halloween treats to very polite Richland kids, read my book and turned off the lights and went to bed around 9:15. Gotta say, one of my busiest Halloween's ever. Boo!

Passed out over 1,000 pieces of candy to kids that failed to say trick-or-treat or thank you, for the most part.

grrrrr....

Yeah, like Kario, I want to hear more about hanging upside down. Were you dressed as a bat?

Carrie, so sorry for such ill-mannered children. Makes me sad that their parents are not teaching them basic rules of polite behavior and why we need them.
