Sacred Wounds
The days are getting longer. Not by much. I am sure it is only by about one minute per day, yet somehow, I can feel it. I need to know it is true this time of year. I need to know that the light returns.
I gotta tell you...I want to go to the islands. Me wan' go home.

It's going to get dark at 5 today, not a number that starts with 4! WOOHOO!
I am so with you on the hunger for sunshine and warm air. I've been walking Toby late enough in the afternoon to actually experience dusk, which doesn't happen when the sun sets at 4:00.

Not that I want you to leave the mainland--I am comforted knowing you and those you cherish hold good energy in the Northwest, but sometimes I wonder what stops you from living where you most want to be. I'm sure it's complicated, as it is for most of us. May your fondest dreams come true.
