First, a few of my favorite photos of 2010:
Word for 2011:
Beloved
More than once, you who visit often have heard me say, "I'm a mystic." My definition of mystic is one whose spirituality is defined by her relationship with the Beloved.
I'm no Hafiz...nor Rumi. My words may never be so profound nor poetic. The Beloved only wants me. Just as I am. Authentically, whole-heartedly me. (Thanks, Brené.)
For New Year's Eve, I had planned to spend time with my beloved chosen family having a celebratory meal. However, my beloved SO was bedridden with the crud (so much so that I really didn't want to be in the same room breathing the same air). Instead, the Beloved and I spent time hanging out--getting reacquainted. You see, the Beloved wants me to know that I am beloved, too.
No doubt, I will be seeing the Beloved everywhere this year...including in myself...and you.
Glorious! Just glorious.

i love it !
funny how so many of us have chosen words to see and appreciate what we have.....
So is Beloved your word of the year? Hope SO feels better soon!
Sweet. You are beloved.
Glorious indeed. So, is beloved your new word?
Love the pics, especially the top one and the dragonfly.
Happy New Year beloved friend.
My favorite photo is the one of the two cats lounging. That could make a person happy all day long.
I, too, am afflicted this week with the crud, so send your beloved my condolences between snuffy breaths.
Still, my congestion doesn't stop me being grateful for the sun today, your lounging cats, and you.
love the monarch butterfly shot..
happy new year my dearest.
wishing you health, abundance and joy for 2011.
one love.
What a beautiful touchstone for 2011. I look forward to learning some of the insights you experience as you live and breathe and know yourself beloved this year.
Thank you for the journey back through 2010 with the reprise of your photos. Gorgeous, sometimes funny, lovely all.
