Any way you look at it, treating people is a good idea. All people--all shapes, sizes, colors, abilities, religions, orientation, gender--like to be treated well.

The Silver Rule made me laugh. It's truly amazing what a smile and a willingness to make space can do.
Had a conversation with Eve about this very thing this morning. I'm having a hard time convincing her that sharing something (even an experience) doesn't reduce her portion of it. It actually increases it for everyone. She's a concrete thinker, so she's struggling with the concept, but I'm going to keep chipping away...
It's nice to be smart but it's smarter to be kind.
