love thursday 02.24.11 ~ all you need is love...and laughter

My true religion, my simple faith is in love and compassion. There is no need for complicated philosophy, doctrine, or dogma. Our own heart, our own mind, is the temple. The doctrine is compassion. Love for others and respect for their rights and dignity, no matter who or what they are - these are ultimately all we need.

HH Dalai Lama

I dreamed that I saw my friend, Oceana. I knew she had died, but it was not unusual to see her. Before her passing, she and I hadn't been in touch for some time and I was glad she was there so I could talk to her.

I approached her tentatively and we fell into open arms for a hug. "I love you," she said.

"I love you, too."

Then she said, "Oh, good. Now I can change the name of my business."

"What is the name of your business?" I asked.

She told me. How I wish I could remember the exact words she use, but they were gone as soon as I woke from the dream. All I can give you is the translation--it was an esoteric term that translated into What Would Wanda Do?

We fell on the floor laughing.

This sounds like a very powerful dream. What will you do with its message?

Ahhh! Visits from spirits of those we loved here on earth...they really do happen. Kind of leave us with a happy heart, don't they?

Laughing. Love it. So glad your friend stopped by to give you a little cheer. Wonderful dream.

Another facet perhaps: Seems to me, back in the whenever, there was a transactional analysis concept that we are every object and every person in our dreams. If that were so, would this mean you were telling yourself to change the name of your business to What Would Wanda Do?
