use it well

(happy 41st anniversary--i didn't take this photo)
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

Jack London

That's my sister and her husband. This is their 41st anniversary. Unfortunately, he is no longer here, but their bond remains...'cause that's how love is. We never know how much time we have. Use it well.

The countdown begins. My mom is here visiting and my sister will be here at the end of the week. I may be counting down the days, but I am using them well in the meantime.

May you all be so loved.

I wish you joy and fun and loads of laughter with these two women who are a part of you. May the anticipation of their visit lighten the days before.

Amen, sister! Drink the nectar from each moment without worrying about or planning for the ones that come next.

Thanks for the reminder.

How true...that's how love is. I always say that all we need is love. The rest will fall into place. I, too, am counting down the days and so looking forward to my visit! It gets harder to sit still every day!

You had me going for a second with: "We never know how much time we have. Use it well." Followed immediately by, "The countdown begins."

Glad to understand you meant the countdown of days till your sis's visit!
