What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what gets you out of bed in the mornings, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.Father Pedro Arrupe

I am in love with that little guy up there at the top of the post. When he sleeps with me, I am happy. When he purrs near me, I am happy. When he brings in a dead creature...less so, but I am happy for him because he is so happy.
And isn't it strange that we invite furry creatures to live in our homes with us?

Don't you wish they stayed that size forever?
It's hard to believe he was ever that small. Not so hard to believe how he captured your heart. Without our furry creatures I don't know that we'd ever understand pure joy.
That quote is awesome! And don't get me started on the picture. Bubba is strongly against another furry creature in this house and every time I see photos of your babies, I have to stop myself from finding another one...
They entertain us, give us warmth, comfort, unconditional love. What's so strange about all that? : )
Curious that a priest spoke of falling in love. I know it's about more than romantic love. Still, curious. He seems to have been in love with life.
