Oh dear. Does the fact I always felt my love a willing offering make me narcissistic or something? Not that I expected everyone to value it, but the ones for whom I felt it so strongly, yes, I expected them to, because of the kind of people they were/are--also loving and generous of spirit.
This does not mean my heart was never broken. Romantic love is something else again, wouldn't you say?
