I am calling prolo #3 a success. Today, I am experiencing very little discomfort--no pain to speak of. In fact, I think I will mow the lawn today. I am hoping that is a sign of healing and progress.
On another note...
Deb asked about the stump....
Many of you know that my dad, a logger--a timber faller--for most of his career, died last month. When we drove to the cemetery for his burial service, right next to the entrance, someone fell this tree. And during a lull in the ceremony we heard a chainsaw running far in the distance...the loggers' version of the 21 gun salute.
(I may use this photo in my book.)

Thank you for the story of the stump. Love it!!
Interesting too, that you posted this at 11:11. Proof that both the stump and the chainsaw were signs sent with love.
Ditto Lala, and I'm happy you're virtually pain free!
What a wonderfully human thing to do. Thank you so much for sharing this story.
Thank you! I love this story. Sad for the tree, but so lovely for your dad and your family.
