dietary supplement safety act?

Did you know that 8,000 people a year die from over-the-counter Tylenol?

If Tylenol or aspirin were being introduced today, neither would be available without prescription.

And yet a bill has recently been introduced into the U.S. Senate which, if passed, will severely limit our freedom of access to nutritional supplements. Euphemistically termed the "Dietary Supplement Safety Act," it will drastically restrict supplements, as has already occurred in Europe.

Here is a link to more information, including a petition you can sign and pass along to others, and another one here.

(I can't help but think that Big Pharma and greed are involved in wanting this to pass.)

thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. i'm off to sign the petition.

i am convinced that the "system" is built to maintain the sick rather than prevent sicknesses.

you are a wonderful promoter of healthy methods by which to live and i thank you for all that you share with me.

Wanda, my excellent and intelligent and "driven by God" chiropractor, Dr. David, gives seminars on all this kind of stuff and I just love him. I'm so grateful to have him as my "primary physcian." He has a distribution list that he uses to send out newsletters. I will send it to you.

I'm so glad to hear your spirit today!
