The first thought that came to mind is that you were damn lucky to get a shot like that! I'll think on it some more.
Makes me think of when parents fight, it's the kids that suffer.
When there are wars, the everyday people whose lives are ultimately destroyed are the true sufferers.

It means to me: We can't breathe and fully enjoy life if we are weighed down by sadness, guilt, fear, the loss of material things, etc. The elephants are things and we are the grass!
