(mijo sleeping in the bathtub)
I did all my outdoor chores. Yes! Didn't get rained on once.
We did a kitty door lesson today. HoneyBoy and Mijo got their collars with their keys (magnets) on them last night. Now we are teaching them to go in and out the door on their own. I'd say the first lesson went well. They are getting the "out" part. The "in" part not so much yet.
While I was taking my shower after chores, Mijo fell asleep in the tub. I could use a nap, too.

Oh! So that's what the collars were about! They'll get "in" - they are super smart! And couldn't. be. cuter.
Love your kitties and the kitty stories. I had a big marmalade boy once who used to curl up in my bathroom sink to sleep.
Yeah. They are getting the "out" part pretty well...at least HoneyBoy is. Mijo still wants the door opened for him. Can't say that I blame him. He freaks out when I try to put him through the kitty door. May have to do some trauma treatment on him.
Deb, did you see this and this?
Is it weird that all I want to do is kiss his belly?
Susan - I don't think there is anything weird about wanting to kiss his belly...or rub it till he purrs your ears off.
Makes me miss my old roommate and his cat. Sadly, she passed a few weeks ago. (the cat not my old roommate)
Sweet Mojo! I could just rub his tummy! Hope the in & out lessons go well after a while, Wanada. Happy Week :o)
Susan, I get to kiss his tummy.
Damian, if you want to hear a cat who can purr your ears off, you should have been in bed with me this morning...wait--that didn't come out quite right. :)
Tracy, I'm sure they will get it eventually. Right now, I have the door propped open--in order to prevent in/out trauma.
