enemies or friends?

It is the acid test of nonviolence that ... there is no rancor left behind, and in the end, the enemies are converted into friends.

~ Mohandas Gandhi ~

This seemed to follow well behind the Mandela quote. Hmm...turning enemies into friends. I guess that applies to more than people.

I am going to have to think about this one myself. Anyone or anything you are turning from enemy to friend?

Hmmm. Food for thought, indeed. How gratifying to be able to accomplish that.

More like the other way around, unfortunately.

Hello there!

I must say that God turned one person who was constantly betraying me into the person who was always supporting and sacrificing for me...

I had not declared her an enemy but I wasn't interested in her friendship.... God changed that....this person is now willing to do anything and everything that it takes to support me. God is the reason... that's all I can say.

Oh, I don't know about this one. It strikes something deep, though. Guess it's too much to admit all out in the open. ;-)

With the world awash in nuclear threat, violent clashes in the face of a possibly tainted election overseas, and billions of new, borrowed dollars allocated to war, it is good to be reminded on this day especially of the victories wrought without violence.
