...or a woman.A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be.~ Abraham Maslow ~

For more than 25 years, I've been in a profession where I was expected to be a tabla rasa--a blank slate. The less I let people see of me, the better--or so we thought.
I don't think I can do it any more. I haven't sorted out all the edges of this. I know that I must still maintain professional boundaries. I know that once I open myself to being seen, I can't take it back. So I reveal myself tenuously...gingerly.
I just know that I can no longer keep as much of myself to myself. What that will look like, I don't know. I just know that Maslow was right.
Guess we'll find out together.

I am thankful to be able to share glimpses into your heart. You are a wonderfully giving person and you are surely appreciated by me.
xo.
sending lots of positive vibes your way.
Sounds like you're at an amazing crossroads, Wanda. Be not afraid--let your light shine! :o)
You are an amazing woman and the more the world is graced with seeing you, the more wonderful it will be here.
My love and blessings go with you.
Maslow WAS right. Can't wait to see the unveiling.
I know what you mean sisterfriend! I'm there with you. We just gotta take deep breaths and allow ourselves to be lead.. We must listen intently within... The message may come while we are driving, doing laundry, and it may pass like a lightening bolt but slow enough for us to capture the knowing...
I stand with you my friend!
Go for it, thithter. I know that all who see what is within you will come away better for having done so.
I've worked with both: those who revealed too little in the process of our work together and those who revealed way too much. Somewhere in between sounds lovely!
Here with us, reveal away! We are listening!
yes, "together"...
i see your heart from here, it is warm and beautiful.
