I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble.~ Helen Keller ~
(1880-1968)
American Writer
If you've been here before, you know that I struggle with wanting to do more than suit up and show up...which on most days is what I can manage. It's not that that's not okay. Certainly showing up is important.
For me--within me...sometimes it doesn't feel like enough.
Today, I will do what is set before me and know that what I do matters. How I approach what I do also matters. And I will hold the thought that because the day before me is what was given to me to live, this day and these tasks are great and noble--the ones I have been given to do.

Hi, Wanda! This post really struck a chord, as I so often feel the same way. I struggle with that same more...yet trying to appreciate that small can be good enough too. The H. Keller quote is a gentle reminder that all tasks have worth, all that we do has worth. Thank you! Happy Day :o)
wanda, i have not wanted to say this to you, but please pat yourself on the back, feel positive, and .... don't make me call my sister. xoxo
Margie, I am feeling positive--and I would love it if you would call your sister.
Tracy, I'm glad this resonated and was helpful. I guess that is another thing that makes suiting up and showing up and being authentic worthwhile--the thoughts, feelings, and struggles are universal and someone somewhere gets a boost.
An excellent thought for the day - love the picture.
And you're in my reader now. :)
